Why in the year 2009 is our public hospital system so bad, its a crying shame that people with life threatening conditions have to wait so long for treatment…Something has to be done NOW

How ridiculous! we have one of the best public health systems in the world. You should try living in america! We have free and immediate health care for people with life-threatening illnesses/injuries

Why compare our public health system with that of America (I presume you mean the USA), we all know that its rotten. You may as well compare it with that of a 3rd world country.
We as Australians should aspire to better than some yanky standard.
